Surprisingly facebook and twitter (previous year toppers) are not included in most innovative companies list. The reason was given that they didn’t introduce any new innovation in 2012.

MAHINDRA REVA is the only Indian company in “The World’s 50 Most Innovative Companies 2013″ list. It is included for catering electric cars to new  audiences along with TESLA at No.22 in the list. Mahindra Reva Electric Vehicles Private Limited, formerly known as the Reva Electric Car Company, is an Indian company based in Bangalore, involved in designing and manufacturing of compact electric vehicles. Reva was acquired by Indian conglomerate Mahindra & Mahindra in May 2010.
